Nate Uldricks’ Plan to Put Indiana Families First
Building our Manufacturing Economy and Bringing Back Good Jobs
Northwest Indiana has a proud manufacturing tradition, and we should be doing everything possible to strengthen it and keep good paying manufacturing jobs right here. That means creating a business climate that encourages smart investment, supports local workers and labor unions, and spurs our homegrown local economy.
By focusing our economic policies on long-term investments, cutting unnecessary red tape, and partnering with local schools, employers, and labor unions to support a world-class workforce, we can bring in more high-wage, family sustaining manufacturing jobs right here.
Affordable Cost of Living
The American Dream should be affordable for all Hoosiers: from young families to our seniors. Whether buying a home, putting food on the table, filling up the gas tank, or paying utility bills, Hoosiers should be able to expect costs that make sense.
Whether you live in Portage, Chesterton, or Michigan City, you deserve to feel protected from crime. Our elected officials need to put effective enforcement as a top priority, not lax policies that are harming victims across our region. We must stop the policies and crime patterns that threaten to spread from Chicago by backing law enforcement, holding repeat offenders accountable, and prioritizing public safety over politics.
Safe Streets for Everybody
The Indiana Dunes, Lake Michigan, and surrounding farmland are a major part of what make this a great place to live and work.
Responsible growth means protecting these natural assets while allowing communities to thrive. With thoughtful planning and local input, we can preserve our environment without standing in the way of economic opportunity.
Protecting and Preserving our Dunes, Lakes and Farms
Northwest Indiana needs steady, principled leadership focused on results, not headlines. Some people are in office to chase national stories and get clout from far-left organizations — but I'm focused on the issues that matter to Northwest Indiana families. That means putting families first, planning for long-term prosperity, and making thoughtful decisions that strengthen our economy and communities over time.
